Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Paper!
How paperless ARE you? Going paperless is totally the new trend. 🙂 It is a great way to streamline the amount of paper that you have to touch, recycle, file and frankly – look at. So…evaluate your current paper set up and see if there are areas where you can change from paper to paperless. Then get online and get it set up today!
For more info, here is a list of items that can be moved to paperless and items that you should keep in hardcopy. (“6 Things to Know About Going Paperless – Kiplinger”) *I love the tip of the iPhone app for receipts.
Option 2: Organize your Bedroom
You may pick your bedroom or any bedroom, take a peek at one room and give in some organizing TLC!
- Are the night stands clear of clutter?
- Make the bed! (Something that instantly makes your room look more pulled together.) 🙂
- Do you need to clean out under the bed?
- How are your dressers or other landing spots, like chairs or desks that might be in the room?
- Does the space have a calm sense to it, is it a place for relaxation and retreat?
Option 3: Organize your Files or Photos
A few minutes spent filing can make a world of difference! Take your time today, to do just that. You can choose to focus on paperwork or photos. 10-15 minutes spent filing, organizing, sorting, deleting, or shredding, can make a BIG difference! Ready – set – go!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day. Â
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
