Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Bath Towels
Are you expecting visitors this holiday season? Have you looked at your bath towels lately? Specifically your guest bath towels?
- Pull together all of your bath towels and evaluate their condition.
- The keepers go back, the tossers get tossed, and those that have a little life left in them can possibly be cut up for cleaning rags? #reducereuserecycle
- Then ask yourself – is it time to invest in a few more towels? If so, consider opting for a neutral colored towel like white, tan or gray. These colors can be used in multiple bathrooms and usually clean up nicely too!
Option 2: Organize {1} Bath Drawer
- Doesn’t matter which one that you choose (and if it’s a small drawer you can consider doing two).
- Take it all OUT!
- Clean the drawer and wipe down any storage containers.
- Purge what doesn’t belong or anything that is outdated, make sure to put all items back where they belong.
- Group like items together and organize your drawer to make it functional!
- Remember less IS more – don’t hold on to things that you aren’t using.
Option 3: Organize your Food Storage
- Open your (Tupperware) drawer or cupboard and say it with me – PULL EVERYTHING OUT!
- Clean, wipe down, scrub, whatever it takes, make it look super squeaky clean.
- Toss the singles and put back the committed couples.
- If possible separate your tops from your bottoms.
- Do you need a few replacements? Jot that down if so…
- For maintenance and storage purposes, try to buy the same brand or style to maximize the ability to store efficiently!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
