Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Winter Decor
Do you decorate before or after Thanksgiving? That seems to be the question… Whatever your choice, choose well and remember to keep things simple!
- Do you have fall decor that needs to be put back into storage until next year?
- Is your fall decor storage system/area organized? What attention is needed?
- How can you add some simple winter decor to your home and/or front door?
- Is your winter decor storage system/area organized? Again, what attention is needed?
- As you decorate for Christmas try to really practice the “one in one out rule,” don’t just keep adding each year. #lessismore
Option 2: Organize your Dinners
As we move into the last month of the year, now is a great time to plan ahead, especially when it comes to dinner and menu planning. Try to prepare 2-3 dinners ahead of time that you can toss into your freezer and pull out on a night when you are busy with holiday festivities. A little prior planning can help you better enjoy the activities without having the added stress of – “What’s for dinner?!?”
Option 3: Organize your Car
You can decide your focus on this one. Do you need to address your glove box? Your trunk? Get your car cleaned? OR do you need to winterize your car? Do a little check up with your car and make sure it is prepared for the colder weather and any possible holiday traveling. Happy travels and/or safe driving!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
