You’ve only got two days left…
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize (1) Drawer
Pick a drawer, just one (unless you have more time and energy) and get to work!
- Empty everything out and clean out the drawer.
- Toss anything that is no longer useful, sort the items that will remain, and then be sure to place any items that do not belong back to where they belong!
- Define the space as you put everything back in by using dividers and/or trays.
- Make a list of anything that you need to buy to better organize (dividers, trays) or items that need to be restocked.
Option 2: Organize your Cookbooks
- Pull all of your cookbooks out and carefully go through them.
- Separate the “keeps” from the “donates.”
- Try to be very deliberate to only keep the ones you use regularly.
- Clean the area where you store your cookbooks.
- Re-organize the cookbooks in the space.
- Place any cookbooks to be donated where they should go.
Option 3: Organize your Summer Activities
Make your focus today to work on arranging and scheduling you or (your children’s) summer activities. Remember to look carefully over your entire summer calendar and avoid over scheduling or double booking. Strive to have a fun-filled yet stress free summer. A summer where lots of wonderful memories can be made!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
