I hope you enjoyed some R&R over the weekend and now you are ready to get back to some organizing!
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Correspondence
A simple organizing focus for today – simply take your 10-15 minutes and send an email, make that call, or write a Thank You note. Often some of the simplest tasks get overlooked. Use your time to reconnect or cross off that “to do” today.
Option 2: Organize a Display Area
Choose a spot where you display things, (a Bulletin Board, your Fridge, your mantel) and go through everything that is on display.
- Recycle any items that are ready to be recycled.
- File anything that is ready to be tucked away.
- Leave anything on display that is still relevant.
- Clean if necessary too!
Option 3: Organize your Tupperware
Specifically your storage containers…Tupperware, Rubbermaid, Sterilite…whatever brand you prefer.
- Open your drawer or cupboard and say it with me – PULL EVERYTHING OUT!
- Clean, wipe down, scrub, whatever it takes, make it look brand new again.
- Toss the single ladies out and only put back the couples.
- Consider separating the tops from the bottoms.
- Do you need to fill in some of the holes? (Add to your shopping list if you need to do some replenishing.)
- For maintenance purposes, try to buy the same brand or style, to maximize stacking and organizational opportunities!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
