Are you ready to get MORE organized?!?
Each {organizing} day you will have not one, but THREE different options to choose from. This is to provide you with a range of choices. So depending on what interests you and what needs to be addressed in your home, you will always have choices.
Once you get into your groove, feel free to mix and match from day-to-day. The goal is to get ONE project done per day. IF you have time for more, fantastic, but keep your goal simple and realistic, and only add-on once you get your first choice done.
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize BBQ or Yard Tools
With summer just around the corner it’s a great time to on organizing the different tools that you’ll soon be using outside. Do you need to address your BBQ tools? Organize and clean them?
Or do you need to organize your yard tools? Take your time today to go through those tools, clean them up, re-organize as necessary, purge anything that needs to be tossed (or donated), and make a note of any tools that need to be replaced.
Happy outside time is just around the corner!!!
Option 2: Organize under the Kitchen Sink
This is your chance to look under your kitchen sink and do some purging, sorting, and of course…organizing!!! Remove everything, clean out the entire space, decide what stays and what goes, and then re-organize – in the most efficient way.
Tips & Tricks…
- Use shelf liner for beautification and/or traction.
- Use a tension rod to hang cleaning bottles.
- Organize vertically, stack containers and/or baskets to increase your storage.
- Utilize the interior of the cupboard doors to hang misc. items.
- Trays or baskets are great options to organize items into categories.
Option 3: Organize your Purse (or Bag)
This is an easy organizing project that you should make a habit to do often. This short article over at Good Housekeeping gave some excellent simple tips on organizing your purse. With a few easy steps you can make your purse pretty AND organized!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
