What do you say we do some organizing today!
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Spring Planting!
IF you have a yard…then take today to work on some organizing for your spring planting. Do you need to make a list of things you need from the garden store? Or do you need to do a little yard work? Or maybe you’ve thought about planting some indoor herbs? This is a great time to move towards planting some things!
Option 2: Organize your Kitchen Counters
Think of this as a sweep! Whenever the counters are clear, your home will simply look more organized.
- Start by standing in your kitchen and look at what you see. Are there things that don’t belong on the counters? Do you have zones set in place to maximize order? Do your kitchen counters look organized?
- After taking an honest look and making a plan…get to work!
- Move things as necessary, put more things away, and look for opportunities to minimize what stays on the counter tops.
- Add in some baskets or trays to create better zones, ie: baking supplies, oils or coffee/tea options.
- Take the time to wipe down the counters and even the backsplash – only if you have time!
Option 3: Organize your Files or Photos
A few minutes spent filing can make a world of difference! Take your time today, to do just that. You can choose to focus on paperwork or photos. 10-15 minutes spent filing, organizing, sorting, deleting or shredding, can make a BIG difference!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
