Time to push up your sleeves again and get to organizing!
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize the Shed or Yard
Have your yard tools gone wild? Head outside, or wherever you store your outdoor tools, and take inventory of what you need and what you don’t. Clean up things and get everything back in order for all of that spring yard work that is around the corner!
Option 2: Organize your Computer
Your computer can often be a place where disorganization creeps in. Today focus on a solid 10-15 minutes to just delete, back up, and organize things. Start with one area, such as your email, and then move from there. Don’t try to do too much, just think bite size organizing!
Option 3: Organize your Sheets
Time to take a peek into where you store your sheets. Take an honest assessment of ALL of the sheets you are hanging onto. (Generally an extra set of sheets per bed should be more than adequate.)
I personally am more prone to just quickly fold our extra sheets and toss them into a basket like this one from IKEA. BUT if you prefer to fold your sheets all nice and neat, do so. If you don’t know how to really fold a fitted sheet, Martha Stewart does. (I know big surprise.) Check out this link for a step by step guide, and if you figure it out, come on over to my house!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
