Double digits today – which also means you are on the last day!
Congratulations!!!
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Spring Decor
With March around the corner, take today to pull out your spring decor. Before you begin decorating with your decorations, make sure that you take a close look at what you are holding onto and keeping stored. (Often times when we take a closer look we’ll see many items that we don’t really love and/or really want to decorate with anymore.) Take your time to put out the pieces that you really love and consider giving away those that you don’t. And maybe, just maybe, adding one or two new pieces this year, but not more! 🙂
Option 2: Organize your Umbrellas
Don’t live in a rainy climate? Then choose #1 or #3 today OR go back and find an option from another day that works better for you.
- Do you need to designate an umbrella just for your car?
- What about stocking up on a few extra umbrellas and putting them in your entryway?
- Do your kids need new umbrellas for spring?
- Are some of your umbrellas ready to be recycled due to wear and tear?
- How about placing a small umbrella in your gym bag or purse?
Option 3: Organize your Mending
Do you have a pile of clothing that needs your attention? If you are like me and toss clothing items that need a little TLC (or what I like to call my “mending pile”) and then you end up forgetting about them! Well we’re going to not forget today!Â
- Do you need to sew a button on something? Take the time and do it!
- Is there an item that needs to be hemmed or lengthened? Can you do it yourself, or do you need to plan a visit to the seamstress? (If yes to the seamstress, schedule a time to make that happen.)
- Maybe you’ve got some items that have some stains that you need to work on getting out?
- Are there things in the mending pile that aren’t really “keepers” anyway? Consider donating the items that aren’t really worth the TLC that it will take to get them back into your closet.
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day. Â
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
