Now that we are into the month of November, the first thing that seems to pop into my mind is the theme – “Movember”. Not sure what I’m talking about? Check out the end of this post and I’ll fill you in! Thanks to my brother in-law, I was introduced to this crazy, but important campaign. (Honey if you are reading this, you need to grow a stache – stat.)
In other news…October was an incredible month for me…not only have we had extremely warm (summer) temps every day, but I’ve been on a roll with accomplishing some of my goals. (Which just feels sooooo good.) It’s been a very happy fall so far…
October Recap
Probably the BIGGEST news of the month is that I ran (and finished) the Lisbon Marathon. (My first full marathon ever.) I’m not sure YET – if it’s a one and done. Oh, and I also got interviewed by a little company, called IKEA.
Then as part of my Fabulous Organized Friend Series, my beautiful sister Harmony dropped by. She gave you an overview of her life and shared all about how she balances her health and home. (She is one amazing lady, who also just had her second baby last week.)
I revealed another “Day in my Life” post, just showing you a bit more about how I plan and orchestrate my days – can we call them organic? Yes we can!
The Beach House Tour continued with a marvelous reveal of the prettiest pink bathroom, ever! I know you’re jealous.
Then on the health front, I explored some more of my eating healthy tips and about the importance of getting your daily water intake in. If you are interested, I have a great {free} printable available for you in the MWM Shop. A printable that will help you to make sure you drink enough water every.single.day.
We also start the Winter Organizing Challenge today, if you still want to join, you still can! Hurry and join the party.
Organized, before the holidays? YOU bet!!!
Now onto the Movember news…I have decided to become a “Mo Sista”.
“Women who participate in Movember (called Mo Sistas) are dedicated to supporting the men in their lives by promoting the importance of men’s health. Mo Sistas sign up, start a team, and fundraise –they do everything Mo Bros do, they just don’t grow a Mo! Mo Sistas are champions of Movember, rallying the men in their lives to join the movement, grow moustaches and have important conversations about men’s health.”
Basically, I want to support and help to bring more awareness to Men’s Health. For the full facts, all about the Movember cause – READ HERE. This important cause compels us (sistas) to educate and keep our men healthy! (And sometimes my nick name is “Mo” – so it really couldn’t be a more perfect fit.)
*Please note – no mustache growing is required by ladies.
IF you want to participate with me – you can donate along with me HERE – or if you want to start your own group or campaign, do so! Let’s keep our men healthy, sistas!
Now…
I “mustache” you a question…what is one health goal YOU have for yourself for the month of November?
