Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize a Fall Trip
As one season wraps, it’s a great time to look ahead and plan a getaway for the next season. Do you have an annual fall trip that you need to organize? Do you need to make some reservations and/or coordinate things? Take your 10 minutes today and plan now – so you can play later!!!
Option 2: Organize your Sock Drawer
We’re going to have to face the facts sooner or later.
The flip-flops are going to be moving back to the back seat again. So, let’s get our socks ready for the fall season!
- Open the drawer and take everything out!
- Get rid of any old and/or mismatched socks.
- Evaluate if you are holding on to too many pairs of socks. (We tend to only wear our favorites, so keep your favorites, and then consider stocking up on just your favorite styles moving forward.)
- Jot down any shopping needs based on your clean out.
- Clean the drawer too. Wipe it down and get it looking squeaky clean.
- Return your socks to your drawer and organize by like styles or like colors – OR whatever works best for you!
Option 3: Organize (3) Goals
At the beginning of each season it’s a great idea to set some goals. Look at your calendar for September-November and set a few goals, no more than three. Make them simple, realistic, and doable! Write them down and post them somewhere visible! And tell a friend too!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
