Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize your Fall Decor
It’s fall y’all! (OR at least it’s on the way!) I want you to start thinking about decorating a little bit for fall, in an organized fashion.
- Do you have summer decor that needs to be put back into storage until next year?
- Is your summer decor storage system/area organized? What attention is needed?
- How can you add some simple fall decor to your home and/or front door?
- Is your fall decor storage system/area organized? Again, what attention is needed?
Option 2: Organize your Gift Wrap Stash
If you don’t have a designated spot for all things gift wrap, now is the time to change that! IF you already have one set up, then now is the time to streamline and stock up!
- Try to pare down what you keep on hand.
- Consider sticking to a few color pallets or only using brown paper craft bags and brown wrapping paper – then you can customize these for any type of occasion.
- Same goes for labels, have a stack of generic labels or cards ready to slap on all things gift related.
- Create a shopping list for anything that needs to be replenished.
Option 3: Organize your Purse or Wallet
Time to retire those wrinkly receipts and those punch cards that are no longer valid! This is a task that is something you can make a point to do regularly.
For example when you are in the waiting room or carpool line – just take a few minutes and clean it up. A few minutes of organizing here and there – adds up to a more organized life!
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
