Today I will give you a peek into a day in my life.
I am so glad I picked yesterday, it was a really good day!
Please realize that I am in moving and Christmas prep mode –
so not all of this is typical, but it will give you an idea. I was up, due to a late night of sewing and gift wrapping. With homeschooling, I have to squeeze in secret projects after hours.

First things first…my Chai and Quiet Time.
My handsome hubby gets home from the gym. He is a die.hard.exerciser.
The kids roll in for breakfast…here is my mini-me.
I write out my “TO DOS” for the day.
Then an unload of the dishwasher (we run it every night) and reload, followed by a juice!
I know you want one!
Since my kids are home a lot, we have someone playing the piano all.of.the.time.
This picture was taken at 8am.
By 9:30 I am ready (showered/dressed) and we head out for a big errand run!
Haggens, Post Office, Target, Home Depot, Cost Plus, and Nordstroms Rack – check off the list baby!
11:30 – I met with another Instructor at the Club, who just returned from an overseas assignment. It was such a blessed time. I was able to ask a ton of questions and got some great information.
God is good!
And…I ran into Jennifer – the founder of Handful. I told her I would love to work with her to help promote Handful in Portugal. She sent me on my way with some samples, lucky me!
Then a quick run through Dutch Bros and a return to TJ Maxx.
Lovely day – wet and cold.
Then, out to the country to drop off some things to a friend. This is the road to their house, so beautiful…
She offered for my kids to stay and play, I had to think about it long and hard…not. I ran back to my car as fast as I could and rushed home. A few hours by myself? I almost felt naked!
Thanks Jenn!
Projects completed during my few hours of quiet. Touched up paint in two of our upstairs baths, cleaned the baths, vacuumed, pulled all of our luggage together (we will be packing 20 bags), made my bed (this is a rarity), and wrapped a gift.
Have I mentioned we are flying our cat with us…when we fly/move to Portugal???
Fiona’s bag is on the far left. Yes we are crazy! I am going to pretend that I don’t know my hubby, since she is his carry-on.
In keeping with my 25 days of LOVE – Marry Christmas – I left my hubby a sweet note.
Then out of my workout clothes (not that I was going to workout) and into a “Girls Night Out” outfit. Go red jeans! Ainsley and I posing for a picture.
We joined Ainsley’s best friend – Hailey and her mom, my friend Sarah, for a fun night out.
We went out for dinner at PF Changs – soooo good!
We were celebrating Christmas and our birthdays early.
The girls got to continue celebrating with a sleepover.
I went home for PJ’s, tucked in Connor, chatted with my hubby,
watched the very end of the Survivor finale, and of course had a little dessert.
LOVE the new flavors of M&M’s!
A little more TV- The Year with Katie Couric
Bed Time – 11pm.
