It’s time for the next seasonal favorites post! This is when I reveal some of my current top picks, the things I’m loving and using.
If you missed my favorites from earlier this year – you can see my Spring Favorites HERE and Summer Favorites HERE. And…don’t miss my faves from 2019: Spring HERE, Summer HERE, Fall HERE, and Winter HERE.
Now…let’s dive into my current faves, my Fall Favorites! Some of the pictures may link to Amazon (affiliate link) for easy reference and/or shopping. These items are not necessarily all related to this time of the year, but they are recent things I am appreciating and enjoying.
No. 1: Marco Polo!
Have you heard of the app Marco Polo? I’ve been using this great app for over two years and with the current limitations on how we are able to connect/gather, I’m finding this app even more valuable. (And it’s free!!!) I love the fact that you can record and send a message when it works for you. It’s a convenient way to connect and stay connected!
No. 2: The Holistic Guide to Decluttering
My friend and fellow professional organizer, Michele Vig from Neat Little Nest, recently released a beautiful book on organizing. Be sure to check out my interview with her on the Morganize with Me podcast, episode #64.
This book is the perfect combination of pretty and practical. I love that Michele digs into the different types of clutter and helps you peel back what’s really behind your clutter challenges.
Here’s my official review (that I was thrilled to see on the back of the beautiful cover), “Michele has created a map to help you find your way through your clutter challenges. This book will adjust your focus and transform your life.” ~Morgan Tyree
No. 3: Another Trader Joe’s Fave!
It’s the little things, am I right? I picked this up recently from TJ and I love having it in my office. A little spritz here and there helps to keep my space feeling fresh and smelling great.
No. 4: MDesign Bins
These bins are the bomb! I have been dialing in my office more and more (maybe I’m a little obsessed with having an organized space?) and these bins work perfectly in my office console to categorize and contain things. I lined up three of them – one stores stationary, one holds the printer ink, and one keeps my card system organized. What’s not to love about anything MDesign makes???
No. 5: Cross Body Bag
Are you a bag person? I am. I’m not really into purses, but bags are my thing. Not the expensive brand name brand ones, simply the ones that pack a punch! 🙂 I recently bought this one above off of Amazon and it’s the perfect size. It would make a great bag for traveling too, which I can’t wait to do again…
No. 6: Neat Method
Have you heard of Neat Method? Neat Method is a luxury home organizing company with over 75 professional organizers throughout the US. And this year they launched an amazing line of home organizing products. You’ll want to check them out and also tune in to my interview with Ashley (from Neat Method) – episode #65. I highly recommend their products. They are tried and true organizing solutions!
No. 7: The Gathering Table
Here’s another book I highly recommend and it would also make a great gift for the holidays. I had the privilege of pre-reading and endorsing it too, something I still can’t believe I have the privilege of doing. #pinchme
Not only is this an inspiring book, full of fabulous recipes, it also encourages you to gather and share the table (something I’m hopeful we can do again soon and safely). I’ve also always wanted to live on a farm (due to many years of watching Little House on the Prairie), so seeing this lovely farm life displayed was the cherry on top!
No. 8: Target Bedding
I’ve been working to “finish” our guest room and I wish I could say that I’m done, but sadly I’m not. The reason itself is almost justification for an entire blog post. Let me just say I’ve bought two sets of curtain rods for the curtains I bought (in July), and I am still looking for the “right” set. This is why finishing a room feels like a marathon. And why I need to return two sets of curtains, and why the room is still.not.done.
But…what I have found through my slow and steady process of putting this room together, is this beautiful bedding from Target. I purchased one long pillow and a quilt to fold at the end of the bed. Using a print like this helps to decorate and layer a space. If you are on the hunt for new bedding, I encourage you to go check out Target’s selection. They don’t disappoint.
No. 9: Studio McGee
I’ve been watching more and more TV (due to staying at home more) and I stumbled upon a new show on Netflix called Dream Home Makeover. It’s all the things I love – a cute family, fun design, and inspiring rooms to swoon over.
No. 10: Glass Penny Jar
Last but not least…don’t underestimate the tiny touches like a penny jar. I recently bought one (at Target) and put the laundry pods in them. It’s a simple way to brighten up a space and chore! 🙂
Alright, let me know what you are loving these days? What are your fall faves? I’d love to hear.
Thank you as always for joining me on the peaceful path to simplicity. xoxo
Happy Organizing!
