One of my joys during this time of quarantine living as been the increased sense of community and connection that has transpired for me. With the luxury of more available time, I’ve been able to jump on a face time call or say yes to an impromptu zoom conversation without needing to double check my schedule. And because of this flexibility and freedom, I’m experiencing more joy and richness in my relationships. It’s been a gift.
In Kara Lawler’s book Everywhere Holy, I dog-eared the page that said this. “But one step in seeing the holiness all around us, I think, is taking the time to build community and to feel the healing powers of it. We want to belong. I love this and I loved this book.
Kara is a gifted writer who sweeps you into the simplicity of noticing the simple things. She encourages you to view your life as an adventure and to embrace the holiness all around you.
