This is a very strange time right now and nothing feels normal. However, my goal is to keep moving forward. Taking one step and one day at a time. Therefore, I’m carrying on my tradition of sharing 10 things I’m currently loving.
Before I dive in, if you haven’t seen my faves from 2019 be sure to check them out! Spring HERE, Summer HERE, Fall HERE, and Winter HERE.
Today is all about my Spring Favorites! Some of the pictures may link to Amazon (affiliate link) for easy reference and/or shopping. These things are not necessarily all related to the season, but they are the current things I’m appreciating, enjoying, using etc.
No. 1: Michael Hyatt – Free to Focus
So, I’ve heard the name Michael Hyatt enough times that I knew I needed to check out one of his books. Well, I’m SO glad I did! This book is great! You know I’m all about taking back your time and this book is a wonderful tool. It’s given me much to think about and is helping me to look more closely at those things that I could and should be delegating and/or eliminating from my responsibilities. #lessismore
No. 2: Dryer Balls
I’m looking for ways to live more sustainable therefore one recent change I made was switching from dryer sheets to dryer balls. And other than having to keep my dog and cat from chasing them (Ha!), I love them. I use a little essential oil for a fresh scent (usually lavender) and find that they do a fabulous job.
No. 3: Jasmine Star
As a BL (Business Lady) I always love discovering new ladies in the world of business. I learned of Jasmine Star via Christy Wright and she is a Photographer and Business Strategist. You can read more about her HERE and see all she does HERE. Jasmine is authentic, humble, and inspirational. Whether or not you are interested in business topics, I do highly recommend you listen to this podcast episode. She shares all about her adoption story and it was a very special episode.
No. 4: Uggs
Now I realize that Uggs have been around for forever and like normal I’m waaaay behind. But I finally broke down and asked for a pair for Christmas. One because we live in chilly Colorado and two because I like to wear capri workout pants and realized I needed a taller winter boot to help avoid the “calf gap.” (Anyone else relate to this problem?) Anyhow, I love wearing these slippers. I mean shoes. What’s not to love about something so comfortable and cozy? Are you in the Ugg camp too?
No. 5: Oprah
When I say Oprah I’m specifically talking about Oprah’s Vision Tour. I met up in Denver with two of my college girlfriends the weekend before the Corona Virus took over our lives. And we had the BEST time!
Oprah is amazing. I loved seeing her live and my highlight was her interview with her bestie Gayle King. You can listen to the interview HERE via her podcast. I highly recommend it! You guys they connect and talk every.single.day. I love that. What an example of friendship, dedication, and loyalty.
No. 6: La Croix
My new drink of choice, La Croix. It helps me drink more water. Enough said. And it feels like a treat! Do you have a favorite flavor?
No. 7: Madison – The Bachelor
So, I’ve been a fan of The Bachelor series for forever. Like since Trista and Ryan. And yes, when I was in Vail last summer I was VERY tempted to message Trista to see if she wanted a little complimentary home organizing! 🙂
Now please know that I watch it purely for entertainment and what I want to highlight is how mature Madison was this season. Seeing her bright light was encouraging. I thought she did a really good job of staying true to herself and her values.
No. 8: Bamboo Tension Dividers
When it comes to organizing, drawer dividers are a life saver! I recently purchased a 4-pack of these to help with separating things. The best feature is how versatile they are and how easily you can move them around as your needs change. Bamboo is also a sustainable product so I like that too!
No. 9: Daring Greatly
As a result of reading Daring Greatly I’ve been digging deeper into how to be more vulnerable and authentic. I love Brene Brown’s teachings and know that I’ll be referring back to this book and most likely re-reading it! She has a gift of making you think deeply. Next up, I look forward to listening to her new podcast!
No. 10: Erin Flett
Recently, I was the lucky recipient of a giveaway on Instagram and was introduced to these beautiful custom bags made by Erin Flett. Everything she designs and makes is absolutely gorgeous. Another small business producing great things.
Friends, thank you for following along with me. I appreciate you reading and listening.
Continue to seek intentionality, each and every day, especially as there is less structure than our normal. We can do this! xoxo
Happy Organizing!
