Well, now it’s time for more of the tour! You get to see the home tour of our third and final floor!
I want to start by noting that I’m not showing you my kids’ bedrooms and bathrooms. First, because they are generally pretty lived in (or messy – I’m a relaxed momma) and secondly, because I want to honor their privacy.
Also, I’m going to do a separate post where I’ll show you our laundry room and hall linen closet. The laundry room is on our third floor and I did a previous post HERE, but since then I’ve changed things so I feel it deserves an updated post all of it’s own. It’s nothing fancy but I’ve got some good tips to share with you. Ok, so now that we’ve covered all the details, let’s head upstairs!
Here’s our landing. If you didn’t see our first floor or second floor, you can check those out as well.
Home Tour – Third Floor
The landing is essentially a pass through space. We use the bookshelf for storing books, photo albums, and pet toys (in the bottom basket). Then the hope chest is a memory storage spot for me and David. I’ve shared all about how it’s set up in this post HERE. Additionally, I gave a full tour of our guest room over HERE, which is pictured above.
Then, if you look down the hallway it heads to the laundry room (the open door), Connor and Berkley’s bedrooms, and the linen closet.
Last up is our bedroom, bathroom (tour here), second linen coset (tour here), and our closet (I’ll do a separate post as well for this space – soon!). I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I let me remind you that I’m not a traditional bed maker so this room does not always look so put together.
My tip for you (and me) is to know the difference between what our organizing priorities are. For example, for some, it really helps them with the flow of their day to have their bed made first thing each morning. Then, for others (like me), it doesn’t really make a difference. So, you and I can just stay in our own organizing lanes! Yay – you do you!
Organizing is not a one size fits all formula.
As always…
Happy Organizing!
