It’s that time again for my favorite things! Last year I started a new series where each season I share my top ten favorites with you. I have a lot of fun creating these posts and hope you find some inspiration! You can check out my Ten Spring Favorites HERE. Today we’re diving into my Ten Summer Favorites! Ten Summer Favorites
No. 1: Leash
First up, I bought this leash and love it! It allows me to walk my dog hands-free, has storage for my phone, and a second pocket for all other dog walking essentials. It makes walking or running with my pup even more enjoyable. This would be super handy if you walk with kids and/or a stroller.
No. 2: Reading Light
I love to read and am always switching between reading on my iPad and reading a “real” book. Having a reading light makes it easier for me to read at night when my hubby wants to go to sleep. I have had other reading lights and this one is by far the best. It has different brightness options and clips easily to the back of a book.
No. 3: Neutrogena Cover Stick
Neutrogena products are my go-to when it comes to face care and foundation. I snatched up one of these recently to cover up my occasional (or not so occasional) blemishes. I like that it is liquid and provides a smooth cover.
No. 4: Staples – Shredding Services
Did you know that you can bring your paper that needs shredding into your local Staples store? They will take your shredding in a confidential and affordable manner. If you don’t have a shredder this is a great option. If you need help knowing what paper to keep check out my FREE printable that lists what paper to file and what paper to toss/recycle/shred.
No. 5: Label Maker
This is one of my organizing go-tos! I found this Label Maker at Target and I like that you can opt for different sizes of font. I carry both kinds of labels (white and clear) with me to all of my organizing jobs, this way I’m ready to label anything that may need labeling!
No. 6: Pet Water Bowl
Apparently I have pet products on the brain. Actually I’ve thought to myself more than a time or two that I need to share how great this addition has been to my life. I found one of these at Walmart and the beauty is that I only have to fill it once a week and both our cat and dog have water available 24/7. Such a simple time saver!
No. 7: LARABARS
I decided (reluctantly) to do the Whole 30 in April and while it required discipline and was a bit limiting, I discovered some new faves. LARABARS being one of them. They are healthy, filling, and only have a few ingredients. Cashew Cookie is my go-to choice.
No. 8: Tank Tops
On Instagram I posed a very important question…
“Where can you find tank tops with a little built-in support?”
I was asking because I can’t seem to find anything like this at Target or Old Navy anymore. According to Instagram, Khol’s makes a great built-in Cami and Athleta does as well. I was happy to hear that there are other options out there. If you need a tank with some support there’s where to look!
No. 9: Coconut Oil
Picked up a two-pack of these at Costco and they are definitely a new fave! I use the oil nightly to help remove my eye make up. It’s also a great moisturizer, I use it as body lotion too.
No. 10: Made Like Martha
A friend of mine, Katie Reid, just launched her amazing book yesterday! A book that is for the Women Who Gets Things Done! Check, check, check! As an “energizer bunny” who likes to go and do, I felt as though I was given permission and protection to carry on! The story of Mary and Martha came to life in a new way for me.
