It’s that time of the year again! The MWM Seasonal Organizing Challenges are kicking off! I’ve updated the Organizing Challenges page, this is where you will find all of the information regarding the quarterly MWM Seasonal Organizing Challenges, or what we call around here the “OC.”
If you haven’t participated before, I encourage you to do so! It’s an easy (and effective) way to work on getting more organized for your next season. The best part? It only takes 10-15 minutes a day.
What are the MWM Seasonal Organizing Challenges?
Four times during the year, in the months of February (Spring), May (Summer), August (Fall), and November (Winter), I run a seasonal organizing challenge. You and I take two weeks and we work together and get more organized – just in time for the next season!
How do I join?
Click here and follow the steps, it’s THAT easy! Everything is listed there for you, all you need to do is choose your 10 days, and of course, commit to organizing with me. 🙂
I’ll be sharing encouragement and reminders via the MWM Facebook page and Instagram based on the dates I’ve set on the OC Page. However, you can choose to work whichever days that work the best for you. I also have designated Pinterest Boards for each season, you can check out those for even more organizing inspiration!
Here is a sample day from the Spring OC. This will give you a better idea of what a day in the life of an Organizing Challenge looks like!
Spring OC – Day #4
Choose only one option, set your timer, turn off all distractions, and get to organizing!
Option 1: Organize Spring Break!
Do you have a Spring Break vacation coming up or some scheduled time off? Now is a great time to set some plans in motion. Need to book a hotel or arrange for transportation? Get out your calendar, make a list and spend some focused time on organizing your plans. Plan now for some fun!
Option 2: Organize your Spices
A simple area to address in @ 10-15 minutes, could be your spices. Unless you have a spice addiction of some kind.
Use your efforts today to move towards having more of what you actually use. Less IS More. This is my personal list of “must have spices.” You can print a copy for yourself below.
Option 3: Set {3} Spring Goals
Often we set large goals, big ideas, without necessarily breaking down the steps towards achieving those goals. What goals can you set that will keep you on track with your goals for the year? What can you jot down and also achieve in the next 4-6 weeks? (Don’t forget to ask someone to hold you accountable too!)
Important Reminders:
- Be realistic and do not take on more than what you will be able to finish within 10-15 minutes per day.
- The goal is to do one project to 100% completion each day.
- Feel free to mix and match from day-to-day based on what your specific needs are and what you have the motivation to work on!
Happy Organizing!!!
