Happy Friday! My kids will be home early today from school and our Winter Break will officially begin! We’re starting with hair cuts, I know, super exciting…
Even though it’s “winter” it feels more like spring in Portugal right now, not that I’m complaining. I do need to occasionally wear a light coat, note I said occasionally. I mean I still pinch myself that this is where we actually live.
Merry Christmas 2015
As you prepare to slow down and spend time with loved ones this season I hope that you can navigate the holidays with grace and love. Holidays can often bring more stress and challenges, and I hope you will find much peace amidst those realities.
Keep things simple wherever and however you can. Focus on being present and on making those important memories. (Remember the December monthly challenge is to simply focus on memories and not on just “doing stuff” or checking off lists.) But if you are getting excited about a clean slate in the New Year, make sure to join the 2016 MWM Goal Challenge, it’s a game changer!
Here is our Christmas picture this year and our short letter. Want to know something sad? This is one of the few pictures I could find of all five of us this past year. (Thanks Harmony for snapping the pic!) And then getting everyone to agree on a picture was another challenge! But it works. It was a beautiful trip to Italy and at least we’re all looking at the camera.
Merry Christmas & Happy 2016!
It has been three years since we left Oregon for our
European tour. And now, we’re all set to return to the States
this summer!
The last year has been an amazing adventure. Ainsley
is now a freshman in high school! Connor is rocking the
7th grade! Berkley is the coolest 4th grader in the house
and we even have a 14 month old Vizsla puppy.
The last year there was travel throughout Germany,
Austria, the Netherlands, Prague, Italy, Egypt, Cape
Verde, New York, London and Spain! Despite all of
the fun travel, usually the best of times are simply the times
we are just hanging together as a family.
We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year!
Much Love –
David, Morgan, Ainsley, Connor, Berkley, Olivia (dog)
& Fiona Apple (cat) – we had another cat, Jack Johnson,
but he ran away – We’re sure “JJ” would want you to have a
good Christmas too!
