The beauty of a long weekend is that it makes for a short week. My kids still go to school on most of the American holidays (because we are living overseas) but my hubby gets the American holidays off. Which means we get a lot of “date days” built-in, which is awesome.
We spent Monday moving furniture and doing some deep cleaning. Yes we live an exciting life! It was actually a great way to start the week and I’ve continued with the same motivation from Monday all week. I love feeling productive. My house is feeling extra clean and dare I say – more organized!
I also signed up for a Mini-Triathlon this month and a Half Marathon in October, so my workout schedule has been forced to ramp back up. It’s so good to be back into a routine. I love the blissful and free days of summer, but the schedule of fall always makes me happy too!
With the fall weather coming I wanted to share Alison’s Fall Style Challenge that is starting soon. Sign ups officially start today! I am such a supporter of her concept because she believes that “Less IS More” – where have I heard that before???
The GYPO Style Challenges encourage you to use the clothes that you already own, guide you on how to put your outfits together, and ultimately help you to maximize your wardrobe while also staying on trend.
I personally have loved moving to more of a capsule wardrobe and find that I have more outfits, despite having less clothes. If you are looking for some simple tools to maximize your wardrobe and minimize your clothing budget this Style Challenge is your ticket!
In other news, my latest recipe is up! I made these recently and I really loved the SW twist. It’s a one pot meal, the veggies wrap up all of the goodness, and they are super simple to make!
Next week I’ve got another Fabulous {Organized} Friend stopping by and I am going to share all about organizing your finances.
Have a FABULOUS weekend!
