So…I’m finally almost done with our home tour. Whew!
This month I’m giving you our Dining Room Reveal and next month I’ll show you our Living Room. And like that you will have seen the whole house!
As a reminder, we are currently living in a rental. We cannot paint or do much to change the things we do not like about this house. (Insert plain white walls and 80’s lighting fixtures.) But, we’ve worked hard to make this house feel like our home.
Don’t think for a second that I’m not busy brainstorming plans to stain our dining room table or what color to paint our hutch! I just want to wait until we’re in our next home to tackle those projects.
One of the wins of this room is that we turned our console table into a computer work station. This way when the kids have homework to do they can spread out on the dining room table and have the computer right by them for quick access. (Of course the computer sitting there also works well for when our Berkley is singing karaoke, which happens almost daily!)
This dining room is not a room we actually “dine” in very often, but it does work overtime when we’re working on projects or doing homework.
