Apparently I blinked and we are now already half way through 2015, what?!? Time flies when you’re having fun, or something like that. This fact reminded me that it’s time to share my 2015 goals – mid year review. I started the year by sharing all of my 2015 goals with you and now I’m giving a little update.
To bring you up to speed…I created a Goal Challenge for 2015 and there are over 50 participants who joined with me and committed to setting goals! It’s been so encouraging to read all of the emails and comments from my fellow goal setters. I’m personally very inspired by all of you!!!
My goals are listed under the six dimensions of wellness and just like in 2014, I’m using the door analogy. I’ve listed goals for 2015 below, and then in blue next to the goal, my progress and/or lack there of…
Emotional – reactions, feelings, cognition
Avoid being an “avoider”, in all of my relationships(This will continue to be an area that I work on, however, I am really striving to be less of a people pleaser and also using more boundaries in my life!)- Daily 3 Check-In Questions with my hubby (We are doing this only about weekly, but I love when we remember to do so! I taped the questions up in our room so we do see them everyday…)

Two Date Nights/Week, 1 – fun & 1 – functional (relational/planning/business)(We do a good job with getting our date nights in!)- Organize our family home videos, and start taking more videos, my baby is almost nine – insert ugly cry (I have failed on this…good reminder…)

Bucket List Goal – that one krazy – over the top – out there sort of goal…
Update: I signed up for the Zumba training, but then learned that the certification would only be valid for one year. So I decided to cancel the training and wait for a later date when it makes more sense.
However, later I realized that I DID have a bucket list goal and that I already met it. I had the privilege of speaking at our Women’s Retreat in May. I loved being stretched in that area of my life. It was a blessing and something that pushed me as well.
Now, I’ve got six more months to get this list checked off entirely. I love revisiting the list as it gives me a little boost to keep on going! I obviously have some areas that I have slacked on, so I am determined to get going. It’s all about taking continued baby steps forward.
Tell Me: What goal have you set this year, that you’ve already met? Or, what do you find the most challenging part of goal setting?
