Oh my, we are in full-time busy mode around here. The kid’s activities have doubled lately with the end of the school year just around the corner. It’s so fun, but a wee bit exhausting! We’ve got dressing up for debates, week-long field trips (to Spain!), drama rehearsals, early morning swim, ortho appointments (for two kids), dances that go until 11:30 at night…I won’t keep going, but I could. Being a mom is such a fun job, tiring yes, but oh so fun. I know I will look back on these days and years fondly.
Now I haven’t done a Friday Fab Faves in forever….and that’s not like me! So today I’m going to share a few of my FAB FAVES when it comes to blog land and the blogs I love.
Michele from The Joyful Home Blog is adorable. I love her focus on food, fashion, family and faith. This recent post about her herb garden was right up my alley. I’ve successfully kept two herb plants alive now for almost three weeks. Even my hubby commented that this is the first time I have done this… #greenthumbmaybe
While I don’t love to clean all that much (truth) I DO love Clean Mama. She motivates me to clean more. I’ve worked on implementing her plan of one focus a day and it has been a cleaning game changer. She also provides a {free} monthly printable because if you are anything like me, you just might need a little reminder – like every five minutes.
I also faithfully use her book and have moved towards most of my cleaning products being homemade. (I’m patting myself on my back right now – green thumb girl and mother earth girl – and they said it couldn’t be done!)
Because I love sarcasm, wit, organization and beauty, I’ve loved following Cassie at Hi Sugarplum! Her sense of style, personality and down to earth nature have me totally hooked. She is currently transforming her Master Bedroom for a One Room Challenge and it’s so far gorgeous!!!! (Just like Cassie.)
When it comes to organizing…I find Jessica at Forever Organised just the sweetest. First off she LIVES in Australia, secondly she is just the cutest thing and thirdly I love her organizing style. She keeps things simple yet very effective.
Last up I give you Just a Girl and Her Blog – or Abby. She is a bright light in blog land and has some fantastic ebooks out. She shares about organization, DIY, faith and more. I read her e-book on building a blog and gleaned so much. Her recent e-book (The Paperless Home) is all about going paperless – an organizers dream! I need to move more in this direction so I plan to check this out as well.
OK…I could go on and on but these are in my top five today! In other news, the Summer OC starts MONDAY! Sign up today to get the best price and to get started with your organizing.
