It’s a “slice of life” kind of post today. A recap of a BIG week.
For starters, Happy Halloween! If you are celebrating today, I hope that you have a blast!!! Make a memory. 🙂
I’ll be attending a 3rd grade costume parade and party, then painting a mime’s face for his first Middle School Dance, chaperoning a “Glow” party and witnessing my daughter (the Class President) coordinate and lead her first School Dance.
This photo above was from our first round of Halloween celebrating last weekend. We are milking this holiday! Life is good.
On Wednesday, my sister Harmony had her beautiful baby.
Her sweet little girl, Emma, arrived safe and sound. I’m very excited to be an Auntie again. I mean pure preciousness. Life is good.
Then, because I’m working through my goals this year, I knew for October that I had to dig in and focus on obtaining my CEC’s for my Fitness Certifications. Overall, I watched about 15 hours of lectures, filled out a huge study guide, made flash cards and tried to take a 500 page book and condense it down to what I thought I needed to know. It was a lot of work!
My point in sharing this, is that setting goals really helps you to push yourself forward. I like that I had a goal and the goal helped to keep me motivated. (While also reminding me how cool it is to learn.) Learning helps you to grow, and I like to grow. Life is good.
Last, but not least, CONGRATULATIONS to Mindy T. on winning the Personal Training and Handful Giveaway. Look for an email from me with all of the details. I’m thrilled to train with you over the next 30 days! And you will love your new Handful!
And the Winter Organizing Challenge kicks off on Monday, don’t forget to sign up today – at the reduced price. The organizing projects are going to get us geared up for the next round of holidays! Hooray!
TELL ME: What do you need to get organized for the holidays?
Hope you have a FABULOUS weekend!!!
