Monthly Organizing Challenge {No.3}
Happy October!
How did WE do? Did you get through your closet and get it more organized? Not sure what I’m talking about? If you missed the Monthly Organizing Challenge for September, my suggestions and tips were all mentioned over here.
If you worked with me, did you get rid of some clothing items that needed to go?
I loaded up one bag of clothes to be donated and it felt so good!
Speaking of fall and October, I also joined the Fall Style Me Pretty Challenge, so I’m going to be getting my pretty on with Alison and you’re welcome to join in the fun with me!
I’ll leave you with my three {closet organization} tips that can help you to keep your closet in a very healthy place.
- Every six months turn all of your hangers around backwards and at the end of the six months, see which hangers are still hanging backwards, those are probably the clothes you don’t really wear OR need to keep. 🙂
- Keep a bag or basket in your closet area to collect clothes you no longer want to keep. Use this system to help you keep a better collection of what needs to be donated or given away or even resold? Then every three to six months be sure to empty the bag or basket.
- Less IS More. Don’t just buy things because they are on sale or “just because”. Shop and buy with intention, look to create outfits and work to help all of your closet pieces mix and match.
TELL ME: What do you want to organize during our next Monthly OC? And be sure to share with me in the comments what you accomplished this month in your own closet!
All previous Monthly OC’s are located nice and organized for you on this page.
Happy Organizing!
