So….another Friday, hooray! I’ve been treating my Fridays as my “long run” days…yuck. Although I’m pretty proud of myself for sticking to my marathon training, as hard as it is. Today I hit 12 miles in my training and I’m pretty much on track. The only downsides right now are the blisters on my poor feet and a bruised toe nail…the price you pay I guess! (Just crossing my fingers that the toe nail stays in place, I assume they are pretty important!?!)
Today’s FAB FAVES are goodies from a little store called IKEA.
You know how I feel about IKEA stuff!
This bag is a great option for when you need a bag at the last-minute. It folds up easily, in its own little bag, and you can just stash it in your purse. That you always have a bag with you! I have the exact one in grey and I truly just think it is fabulous.
I am continuing to look for more ways to reduce, reuse and recycle, based on my Seven reading convictions, and a cute bag keeps me motivated, always.
I also found this larger version, that has an excellent zipper on the top to help keep everything tucked away. This is a great Costco bag if I’ve ever seen one. Oh Costco I miss you…
So one day last spring I bought four of these umbrellas, two in the grey print and two in the orange print. Really I need to go back and get two red ones too, I mean come on, how cute is the red print?
Yes, I got a little carried away. Let me explain…
They are affordable (note – you should become an IKEA family member, you’ll save $), they are a nice size, and I think the fabric prints are really cool. And, I also liked the handle.
I mean, I kind of have a crush on these umbrellas. Which is why I bought four, and might just need more. 🙂
And, guess what? No more playing the game – “I can’t find an umbrella.”
I might add that IKEA contacted me for some advertising via their Europe online marketing. I about fainted when I received the email. I was SO flattered. To think that my pictures had caught someones eye at IKEA – by someone in their marketing department. So exciting!!! #pinchme
*This post is NOT sponsored in any way shape or form. Just a testament of my love of three more things from IKEA.
Hoping you have a FABULOUS weekend!
