Today I’m going to catch you all up on my last month of family fun! I mentioned on Monday that my hubby broke his foot. Poor guy. He broke it skateboarding (something he hasn’t done in about 20 years). *Note to self don’t try tricks that you haven’t done in years.
Shortly thereafter when I was in the midst of a four-hour visit to urgent care, (not to mention the three-hour adventure I had tracking down a boot cast and crutches) I got this fun text from my sister.
The four girls/four boys is a reference to my parents, not her, they will have now have eight grandkids, 4 boys/4 girls.
We’ve had some warmer weather and have spent a little bit of time in our pool and I used the Summer OC to get our sunscreen stash fully stocked. I love summer.
A care package from my sweet parents. It always makes me emotional to receive fun treats from my loved ones. They know me so well.

Due to my hubby’s broken foot he stayed back while the four of us ran in the Color Run along the beach front with some of our favorite friends.
It was a fun day, minus the fact that nobody.was.running. We enjoyed it but feel like it was a good one and done.
We ended the month with a three-day getaway which was fabulous, just my hubby and I. We did pretty much nothing, which was just what we needed.
