So….I have a little announcement today. I have decided to share a little more about my family here on MWM. I have been blogging on our family blog (Tyree Tales) for the past year and a half, but now I have decided to combine my efforts! (Keeping up two blogs is more work than I realized!) And you guys told me via my Reader Survey that you wanted to know more about our adventures in Portugal, so now you’ll have it! This is all part of a little KISS effort on my part – keeping it simple sisters! xoxo
Don’t worry though, I’ll probably only share about 1-2 times per month about our family life (and it won’t be a overshare – pinky promise). But, if you ever want to see old posts from Tyree Tales just search “Tyree Tales” here on MWM. (I’m slowly migrating over my favorite posts.)
So welcome to more slices of my crazy life…
One of our goals this year was to take advantage of more date nights (or date days). Now that our kids are older it is easier to escape when we need to. And, beautiful sangria is always a welcome addition!
Connor prepared for his science fair like it was his J.O.B. – A.K.A. “Racing Snails.” I won’t mention how many trips we had to make to the garden (at school) or to the pet store for the “necessary” supplies. He is so creative and he makes me so proud.
Here is Ainsley at the Science Fair…she is pretty cute and pretty smart too!
Berkley and I placed in the top three AGAIN in the gum drop building contest at the science fair!!! We are already practicing for Science Fair 2015. Watch out gum drop builders!
We took a day trip to visit a castle in Mafra. This was the library. A very fun family day!
Spring for us means BIRTHDAYS!!!!
David and I both celebrated another year and now we are also parents to a teenager – how did that happen???
I finished the month of March by chaperoning not one but two field trips. Nothing makes me more exhausted than chaperoning field trips. Nothing. But I did get to snap this great photo on one of them. What a cool park.
Hoping that you have a FABULOUS Friday!!!
*And if you subscribe via email to MWM you will randomly get an email of an old “Tyree Tales” post – feel free to just ignore it! Thanks for your patience as I do a little housekeeping here on the blog and hopefully around my home too! 🙂
