Today, I will show you the massive row of drawers in my kitchen.
I am lucky to have a single row of nine drawers!
This is the view of all nine of them.
So much fantastic storage at my finger tips I tell ya!
My go to organizing tools for drawers, are these Rubbermaid Plastic Drawer Organizers. I love that you can keep moving them around and design them exactly how you need to use them. Along with the fact that you can clean them by just popping them in the dishwasher.
Now one by one, I’ll explain how I organized and created the “zones.”
The first two drawers are dedicated to all of our office and home related things.
Everything from chalk, to batteries, to band aids.
I have put all of the things here that we tend to need and grab often.
Up next, is a drawer that is dedicated to all things baking.
Then, this drawer is near our snack and lunch prep drawers, it holds things for lunch packing, along with graters, slicers, and funnels.
Our drink drawer, is right by our coffee maker, cups, and tea kettle.
Not much explanation for this next drawer…
This drawer holds most of our small gadgets, this is a perfect example of how the dividers can help to keep things nice and neat!
The “wrap” drawer.
And bringing up the rear, is the baking drawer.
In addition to these nine drawers, I have six more drawers dedicated to snacks and storage.
Here are a few snapshots of how they look.
Whew…that’s a lot of storage!
Next week I’ll show you how I organized all of the lower cabinets.
