God has a way of planting little seeds in me that tend to stick. Eventually, the seed grows bigger and flourishes. Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) was one of those seeds that was planted in me.
About ten years ago, I was told by a friend that I really needed to check out BSF. She told me that I would just love it. I had just had my second baby, so she told me I would have to wait until my baby turned two to attend. I was interested and tucked the seed of information away.
Fast forward five more years, and I found myself with my third baby turning two. I was now living in a different state, but I remembered that seed about Bible Study Fellowship. I googled BSF and found a class about 10 minutes from my home. I didn’t know anyone who attended, I just knew I needed to go.
It was the best decision.
I went through four years of BSF and learned so much about the Bible and ultimately what God wanted to teach me. He uncovered in me, pride, independence, lack of faith, and so much more.
It was life changing.
I would still be in BSF if it was offered in Portugal, (it is International but just not here). If you are interested in checking out a class, their site lists all of the class locations – Bible Study Fellowship. They also (or at least where I lived) now offer classes for children from birth up, so no longer waiting until you have two year old.
