Time Blocking is using the strategy of single tasking to help provide the necessary guardrails to protect your time. And….it can improve productivity by as much as 80%!!!
In this episode I share with you how to time block to make your time count. (Keeping in mind that pivoting and adjusting should always be your number one goal!)
Creating regular rhythms week to week is the aim. Along with daily time blocking to help protect time for what your top priorities are each day.
Six Tips for Time Blocking
#1: Schedule your blocks of time, identifying when you will do what.
#2: Batch similar tasks together during your blocks of time.
#3: Figure out when you are most productive in the day.
#4: Block off personal time and create boundaries around work/home/life.
#5: Allow for unexpected interruptions and changes in your scheduling.
#6: Identify your top priorities at the beginning of each day.
